Babys found on Edge Lane Allotments

Here we can see three pictures of some newborne baby hedhehogs, the first two are on site at the plot with the raised beds at Edge Lane Allotments, looks like the mother had abandoned them the thired is where they ended up , which was at the hedge hog hospital in withington.  (don't they look cosey) I have been told by the nurses at the hedgehog hospital that once the mother has left them they would have died or been eaten by the birds, so well done too the young lads who were helping clean up the site.
