great to see people posting on here again, lets hope we can get back to
having a good old natter and debate on here and less moaning about how
bad Ace finds eastserve.
The B-OF-THE-BANG can be saved and made safe for generations to enjoy ,And if sean or some others in the MCC want my ideas they know my e-mail addy and telephone number.The bang can be modified at a reasonable cost and still retain its looks but reflect the history of the area and the people who gave their lives and sweat for generations.....
Ace ...So come on sean or "Sir" leese or bernstein...
At last a start of a community post.That people can use..Brilliant maybe somebody could help me setup my wifi connection to the eastserve network..with router settings ect???.

For anybody setting a wifi network in their home either do some research or get eastserve to set it up.My network is now up and running and secure but its taken me a lot of reading up Etc.so a ;ittle bit of advice if your not computer literate let eastserve do the install and setup.or like myself do a lot of reading....

soz i've not been able to get on for a while, was rushed to hospital the other week n only just been discharged, jeese, scary business it was.
but am back home now n am looking forward to catching up with ppl.
can't believe i've been in hospital for so so long, i ain't even been on holiday for that long... lol... but if anyone in tameside is lookin in... they've got such a brill hospital (well, they made me better when i was at deaths door so they are all angels in my eyes)
we never know eh wots round the corner for us do we eh?
jenny, like i've said before chuck, you're an inspiration. and for you to lose so many people in such a short time and you still find time to consider others, well, that proves how sincere folk can be.
will try n suss my way around the other topics to catch up

Hiya again peeps, I've been off-line for a while, had to send for help Eastserve to help sort it out. Turns out that my new laptop has a wifi on/off switch that had accidently been pressed! It cost me £25 for them to tell me - not impressed but there you go, it is now a 'propa' Council buisiness and not a community site (more's the pity)Anyway, moan over. It's really good to hear from friends from 5 years ago, had to believe so much time has passed. My life has changed beyond recognition - I too lost my darlin' sister, and six months later my beloved brother. I miss them more than I can say. I try to be positive and just hope that in a few months time I will be able to walk again. I might even get a bit of life, who knows.
I'm still finding it difficult to navigate around this forum. It took me ages to find the 'reply' button, I was looking at the left of the screen where it lists all the'Council' forums. That isn't much use if you just want to natter to a few old mates ha ha. Anyway, I've waffled enough, but I will keep popping in, so any other of the old gang see us do join in. Jenny

Hi everyone, thought i'd post quick update for jenny :) jenny went into
hospital today and "fingers crossed" she should go for her op in the
